It’s Thanksgiving week, and we have a lot to be thankful for.  Please share that thanks by giving some money to the Save the Children Action Network.  Your homeroom teacher has an envelope to collect the money you can donate. We are going to support a local Headstart Early intervention program from the Hearth Home.  Hearth provides housing for women and children who are getting out of abusive situations — and the children really benefit from the Headstart program. You can be thankful that we have programs to help like this in our community, and you can help too by bringing in some money to give to the cause.

The Varsity Ice hockey team defeated Cathedral Prep 4-3 last night at Mercyhurst Ice Arena. Goals were scored by Matt Gentile, Collin O’Neil, Dylan Watkins and Tyler Putnum. These goals were assisted by Aaron Miller from Haden Shimko, Sean Parks from Will Mensch, Tyler Putnam and Dylan Watson from Luke Turkovich. Please come support the team when they take on Seneca Valley at 7:00 PM, Monday, November 26th at Baierl Ice Complex.

Spanish Club will have a meeting TODAY in Mrs. Lasitis’ foods room after school from 2:30-3:30. Please remember to bring your $20 dues if you haven’t already.

Hey!  Looking for something to do since your fall sport has ended?  How about NA Rowing? Winter practice begins on 12/3 and will be M-TH 5-7 pm at the NAI Cardio Lab.  See you there!

There is no better resource than someone who was where you are and is where you want to be. Meet with NA grads who are currently attending Yale, Penn State Schreyer Honors College, Brown, Rhode Island School of Design (and probably more).  These sessions will occur in the college rep room (the glass-enclosed space next to the NASH auditorium) during all 3 lunch periods TODAY. Come to ask questions about the students’ experiences. Find out about their transition from NA to college.  Sign up through Naviance so we know how many students will attend!
