Get ready for some Spikeball! NASH is holding a spikeball tournament on May 18th at Newman Stadium from 5-10pm. Signups are this week. All proceeds benefit Hearts for Homeless. You can find the registration link on the flyers throughout the building. Grab a friend and practice up!

Attention Seniors:  The Post Prom Parents are in need of your parents help and donations to make this year’s post prom a success.  Please have your parents contact Linda Pine, the General Chair, to see how they can help out. Her email address is [email protected].  Without the help of the majority, the Post Prom couldn’t possibly be as fabulous as it has been in the past, please encourage your parents to reach out and lend a helping hand.

If you are a current junior who is interested in further supporting the fight against Pediatric Cancer, consider joining the Lending Hearts Junior Council. Lending Hearts is a Pittsburgh nonprofit organization that supports children and young adults who are battling cancer by providing monthly family activities and administering a wellness program at Children’s Hospital. If you are interested in increasing your leadership skills and supporting this important cause, please visit the Lending Hearts website for application guidelines. You can also contact Anna Betler, Richie Carr, or Eliza Toomey with any questions. All applications are due by May 1st.

Fall Play Auditions for Next Year’s fall production will take place on Tuesday, April 30 from 2:30-5 in Rm 221.  All students interested in auditioning should prepare a comedic monologue. See Mr. Truesdell in Room 221 for details.

The Allegheny Intermediate Unit’s Career Connections Program consists of 1 to 4 daylong learning experiences during the school year in 18 different career fields–everything from Architecture to Zoo Animal Care. The program provides for hands-on, behind-the-scenes experiences and gives students the opportunity to make connections with organizations and people who can help them as they pursue their career choices.  Juniors are now able to apply for the 2019-2020 AIU Career Connections program. If interested, students must follow a 3-step application process which includes completing the online application, obtaining a teacher recommendation, and mailing fees and paperwork.  Stop by the GOAL Office to learn more about the opportunities and how to apply for them.

Attention Seniors attending LaRoche University or CCAC in the Fall, stop down to the Counseling Office to pick up an application for the McCandless Industrial Development Authority Scholarship.  The due date for submission is TOMORROW, so don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity.
