Miss Nasser
“I don’t really remember much of what happened that day because I was only 5 or 6 years old. The school had a mass evacuation, and everybody’s parents came to get them. I remember going home and being young and naive; I thought it was great that I had a day off. But I do remember sitting in front of the TV and seeing the horrific acts happening, and it was just something that even though I didn’t completely understand it, I knew that something was wrong, and I knew that my parents were scared. Once I got a little bit older and we started to talk about it in school, I had realized what had happened that day, but from a small child’s perspective, it was a very uneasy situation that I experienced, but not wholeheartedly until a lot later.”
