Football season is here!  Show your school spirit and get your official NA Gold Rush T-shirt.  On Friday, September 13, the cheerleaders will be selling T-shirts during lunch periods.  Shirts will also be available on Friday nights at the game. Short sleeve shirts are $10, long sleeve shirts are $15.  Don’t be without your NA Gold Rush shirt this football season. Proceeds from the sale benefits the NA Cheerleading program.

Attention Seniors:  Are you interested in running for a senior class officer position?  There will be an informational meeting held on Wednesday, September 18th in Mrs. Perry’s room, 313.  Mark your calendars!

Juniors and Seniors!! TigerThon Committee Sign-Ups are out now and will be open until Monday, September 16th! The link to the google form is on the TigerThon twitter and on Blackboard under student information… help insure that No Child Fights Alone!

Seniors with a QPA of 3.95 or higher should pick up their NHS application packet in room 314 with Mr. Tengowski as soon as possible.  Completed applications are due by Friday, September 20 at 2:20pm.

Attention Jr. Class….Would you like to be the president, vice president, secretary or treasurer of your class?  If so, please stop down to sign up in room 196 to run and be an officer for this school year. Please see Mrs. Loeffert in Room 196 for details.

The first Multicultural Student Union meeting will take place TODAY  during all lunch periods in the auditorium foyer (students can bring their lunches).  We are a club that has open discussions about a variety of events in society regarding diversity in all forms. The club is open to all.

Attention any students who turned in their laptops for repair last year or through the summer months, please stop at the Student Help Desk in room 267 to exchange your loaner laptop for your assigned laptop.

Any students interested in US Military Service Academies, or ROTC Scholarships in college, or enlisting in any branch of the  military, should plan to attend a brief meeting on Tuesday, September 17, in The Place during homeroom, to assist you by answering questions or addressing concerns you may have.

Attention students, the Armed Services Vocational Battery, more commonly referred to as the ASVAB test, will be offered at NASH on October 8, 2019, in the Ponce Room at the Baierl Center beginning at 7:00 a.m.   Any student considering enlisting in any branch of the US Military should take the ASVAB test. Taking the test at NASH will expedite the process of getting qualified and it will be much more convenient than going to the Federal Building in downtown Pittsburgh.  If you are interested in taking the ASVAB test at NASH on October 8, please stop by the Counseling Office and sign-up before Tuesday, October 1.

Hey NASH, do you want something fun and exciting to do this year? A club completely out of the box, where anyone and everyone can de-stress and have a great time? Well join NA bollywood, a club full of exciting dances, music, and optional performances. The next meeting will be on Friday, September 13 in the NASH cafeteria. See you there!

The Muslim Student Association will continue into the 2019-2020 school year. Anyone interested should come to the informational meeting on Tuesday, September 17th, in room 922 at NAI.  The meeting will begin at 2:40.

Did you know that NASH has a nationally ranked literary and creative arts magazine? Consider joining the staff of VARIATIONS and become part of this exciting opportunity.  It’s straight fire!!! You don’t need to be Shakespeare or Van Gogh.  An informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 1 at 2:30 in room 234.  Can’t make the meeting? Stop in room 234 any time and Ms. Yakich will provide you with further information.

The Model UN club is having a meeting TODAY after school in the Place. No experience is required and everyone is welcome.
