Attention Seniors: So, you missed the first two days of the “Early Bird Reduced Price Sale” of the Senior Banquet Tickets — no worries!  You still have two more days to get your ticket for $75 before the rate increases in the spring.  Tickets will be on sale Wednesday after school from 2:20 -3:00 and Thursday before school between 7:00 and 7:20 in the auditorium foyer.  These will be the last two days to get your ticket at the reduced price.  Please come with a check made payable to NASH for $75 and have your name in the memo line of the check.  This is an event you will not want to miss, so get your ticket soon!

The Key Club is hosting a T-shirt drive through January 21st to benefit Zip with Us.  This organization donates custom-made zip shirts to kids with cancer across the country.  

Please consider donating a new t-shirt with tags on.  Sizes needed are 2t to adult XL.  Need some design ideas? Shirts with dinosaurs, princesses, superheroes, unicorns, and more. Don’t have time to shop?  The LSS/AS class will do it for you!  Please donate cash to room 268.  Any amount is appreciated. All shirts can be dropped off to room 337 or room 268.

Do you have any videos from the homecoming parade or dance, football games, after school activities, marching band, or any other event — big or small — from this school year?  Two seniors are creating a short film to honor the NASH student body to be presented at the end of the year, but they are missing footage from the beginning of the 2021-22 school year.  If you have any video clips you would like to be used in the short film, please submit them to the Google folder found in your email from January 6th or on Blackboard Student Information.  Please keep the videos school-appropriate, as this video will be made public at the end of the school year.

Welcome back to the NABA news Update! After another week of action, the landscape of the League remains largely unchanged. Team Ferraro finally had a taste of defeat this week, losing in a heartbreaker to team 5. Still sitting atop the league, team Ferraro seems to have nothing to fear, however, the rest of the league is sure to let out a sigh of relief knowing Goliath can be defeated.

There are some rather large power-ranking shifts that deserve to be talked about. Things are looking up if you’re a fan of team Miller, as they moved up from 9th place and now sit as the number 5 team in the rankings. However, Fans of team Taborski might want to look away – sliding all the way from the middle of the pack down to our 12th ranked team. 

It’s still too early to tell who will come out as champs this year, but one thing is certain – this season is still yet to disappoint. That’s all the time we have for this week – make sure to go out and support your favorite team this week. We’ll see you next Tuesday on the NABA News Network.
