PSAT registration is now open for juniors.  Please pick up a registration form in the counseling office or print one from the NASH homepage.  The test will be administered on Saturday, October 15th.  The cost of the test is $30 if you register by October 3rd.

Attention all students: Please complete the NASH Student Handbook Review Google form during Homeroom today or tomorrow indicating that you have reviewed our NASD 9-12 Student Handbook. All students are required to review the expectations that are shared in the handbook. Please visit our NASH Student Blackboard page to locate the form. This information was also reviewed during our grade level assemblies and from our NASH administration during morning announcements throughout the beginning of the school year.  This form is due by Wednesday, September 14.  Thank you and Go Tigers!

This is the last week to sign up for the Spring Musical.  If you are interested in participating on stage, please go to www.namusical.com , register, and sign up for an audition time.  Students interested in stage crew should contact Mr. Tozier.  We will have more information about playing in the pit later in the Fall.  The NA spring musical is a huge and fun production. The NA Interact Club will have its first meeting of the year TODAY from 2:20 – 3:15. Students ending their day at NAI should meet at NAI in the Tiger Lounge. Students ending their day at NASH should report to the NASH “PLACE” — the room with a mural on the 2nd floor attached to the NASH Library.

If you are interested in foreign policy and want to get more experience, Model UN may be for you!  Model UN is a club where you can represent either a person or country and speak for their point of view.  The first informational meeting for new and old members is on THursday  September 15th after school in the NASH library. We will begin at 2:45 and the meeting will end at 3:30. Learn to be a diplomat, join Model UN!  We hope to see you there!

Interested in National Art Honor Society? NAHS is more than just painting or drawing. It consists of art-based volunteer activities for the school and community, meaning you don’t have to be an amazing artist to participate. Sign up using the QR codes hung up in the hallways and by the art room. The deadline to sign up is September 16th.

Calling all history lovers! The North Allegheny History Bowl team is looking for new members for the 2022-23 season. Whether you’re fascinated by the Emu War, the Mona Lisa’s many thefts, Handel’s Water Music on the River Thames, or any other interesting aspect of history, History Bowl has a place for you. If you are interested in wild adventure, swordplay, and sorcerous fun, then the Dungeons and Dragons club is calling you! The club is seeking experienced Dungeon Masters, seasoned players, and new players willing to risk life and limb for gold and glory! All table-top games are welcome, not only D&D. The club will hold an initial informational meeting on Monday, September 19th after school in room 232. Hope to see you there.

The NA Speech and Debate team will be having an introductory meeting on Wednesday, September 14th in the NASH auditorium from 3-4 PM. They will be discussing important information for this season and allowing new students to experience different types of speech and debate events. This meeting is for new and returning members, so make sure to attend if you want to join Speech and Debate this year!
