THANK YOU THANK YOU ! While the totals are not yet complete , we have a rough idea of our coin collection total for the day.  At this point we have $2000 in cash  and we have not yet had all the coins counted .  Our $3000 goal is in sight!!!

The highest collecting rooms so far are Ms Beatty, Mrs Harrell, Mr.  DiBucci, Mrs. Brudnok. Stay tuned- all rooms collecting over $100 will receive a prize. Final results are expected Friday and we will announce the totals and winners Monday.  The kids at Grandview thank you for your support!!

Attention all students, there will be a hot chocolate stand today through Friday before and after school by the gymnasium doors. Preferred donation of $1 for a cup of hot chocolate. All proceeds will be donated to The Children’s Hospital.

The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.  Attention NASH JUNIORS AND SENIORS who are Franklin Elementary School alumni!   Franklin is holding their Read Across America celebration on Friday, March 2, and you are invited to come and read to our students at the end of the day!  We’d love to have you read your favorite Dr. Seuss book to a classroom group.  Please go onto the Franklin website to register.  We can’t wait to see you there!

Join us for the NASH Youth Group Friday morning in room 350 (Coach Neff’s room) for an uplifting few minutes.  We will start at 7:00.  There will be donuts.

Come join the fun under the sea and be a part of the behind the scenes action of this year’s musical. Help is needed backstage to move set pieces on and off the stage and assist with other behind the scenes tasks that are an integral part of the production. See Mr. Zebley in Room 193 or Mr. Tozier to sign up.

If you are exploring possible careers, then Law Day is for you!! TOMORROW here at NASH , six lawyers have graciously agreed to talk about their career paths and what they do every day as a lawyer.   The event runs from 9- 11:30 am.  Get your pass in room 249A or see Mrs Will or your social studies teacher for more information.

Join us on Thursday, February 22nd for Engineer the Future at the Carnegie Science Center from 8:10 – 2:00. This event will allow you to explore a career in engineering. The cost is $8. Money and permission forms are due by Feb. 9th.

The Hour of Code is coming soon and Music Club is hosting a Composition Competition. Compose a song that you think represents the hour of code. This must be no longer than 2 minutes. You must submit a .wav or .mp3 file to Mrs. Prosser by February 21 by 2:15 PM.  Submissions will be judged and the winner will be announced on the day of the Hour of Code.
