Ms. Wienand
“My path is kind of convoluted. My bachelor’s degree is in Anthropology from Saint Mary’s College in Maryland. When I got out of college, I taught at an outdoor school, where we taught environmental sciences and character education for the week. I went back to school, then taught in Erie at an elementary school, and I got laid off from that as well. I was really fortunate to find a job as a librarian at Grove City High School, and I love working with high-schoolers, and I love being in the library. I’m also a really big fan of books. I didn’t go to college knowing what I wanted to do, and I did a lot of exploring along the way.”
