“I don’t necessarily think it’s “irrational” for high schoolers to find their soul mate in high school, but I think the chances are awfully slim. I know of at least three happily married couples my age who have been together since high school, but most people my age don’t even speak to their high school girlfriend/boyfriend. I don’t think it hurts to hope, so long as you have a dose of reality.”
