Mr. Smith

“I don’t think it is irrational for a teenager to believe that they can find their soulmate in high school, but I do think it is improbable.  Someone once told me in regard to finding the person you are destined to be with: “It is not so much who as it is when.”  While this sentiment may sound a bit unromantic, timing truly is everything.  Even if two soulmates find each other at an early age, it may not work because the time is simply not right.  One or both individuals may need time for growth and self-discovery, and to have new experiences. But I do think there is at least some hope and possibility for teens to find their soulmates in high school.  Even if two people meet in high school, fall in love, and drift apart, who is to say they won’t make their way back to each other and end up together in the end?”
