Drama is a recurring theme in all of our lives. No matter what, there is always drama. And no one can relate to this reality more than Kanye West. 

Over the past couple of weeks, West has been trending all over social media for several reasons. At one point, his name was trending over the Super Bowl on the day of the famous event.

So what really is going on with the one and only Kanye West? 

Whenever someone hears about Kanye West, they usually associate him with American socialite and wife of West, Kim Kardashian. The two married in 2014 and are expected to divorce this year.

Now, does Kanye want that to happen? Absolutely not. In fact, the reason West has gained so much attention on social media is due to the content he is posting after the two split. 

It all started with a video on Instagram (posted by @ye) where Kanye accused Kardashian of trying to stop him from attending their daughter Chicago’s birthday party. He responded to Kim, who was trying to explain the situation online, saying, “America saw you try to kidnap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address.” 

Is Kanye allowed to be upset about this? Of course. Separation from your own child through a divorce would be an extremely tough situation and not being able to spend time with them on their special day would be hard to digest. 

As this situation came to an end, West announced his concerns with his daughter’s use of Tik Tok. The app has been used by many to showcase their own creativity, and West was not pleased with the @kimandnorth account, created by Kim Kardashian. The account featured videos of West’s daughter dancing, doing makeup tutorials, and more. West obviously pointed the finger at none other than Kardashian. The criticism from the father led Kardashian to rant about the whole situation, claiming, “Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any Tik Tok North might create.” 

It only gets more entertaining from here. The feud naturally continued on Valentine’s Day when Kardashian was caught spending romantic time with American comedian Pete Davidson. West has tried very hard to regain his relationship with Kardashian, but spotting the two together only made him feel more separate from his wife.

Extremely upset about the situation, West exposed text messages in which Davidson tried to make peace with him. West made clear to Davidson that he was not going to let him meet his children and Kardashian was especially upset about the leaked messages. “U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault,” said Kardashian in a posted exchange with Kanye. 

West made it clear to the public that no one should harm Davidson and promised that he is going to do whatever it takes to bring his family back together. Obviously, it is not going so well with Kardashian pushing for divorce, his children being away from him, and Davidson spending time with Kardashian. It seems as if West has the right vision but isn’t taking the right steps to reach that vision.

Now, would I want to see West and his family back together? Absolutely. All the social media leaks and posts clearly are happening because West can’t handle being away from his family, and I hope he finds a way to regain the love and trust of his family. Nevertheless, it’s hard to deny that it’s somewhat entertaining to watch as all this goes down online.
