Trying to decide what to do after high school? Wish you could learn more about the many careers that exist? We have just the thing for you! The GOAL Office will host a series of lunchtime conversations with career professionals in a multitude of fields. These sessions are open to all students and will occur during lunch periods from March 4 – 15 in the PLACE. If you wish to learn more or sign up, head to the Career Conversations website which can be accessed through the NASH Student Information Bb page or via the QR code on flyers in the hallway. We just wanted to let you know that there are only about two left in each size. Bring a check made payable to NASH for $15 to room 313 before or after school or during homeroom, and you can get one before they are gone.

As May approaches, Seniors will be making big decisions regarding where the next path in life will take them. If you are a senior and would like to share this information with your classmates, check out the email that Mrs. Perry sent on January 17th with a link to complete a Google form sharing your future plans. These plans will then be shared on Instagram @nashseniorclass. We can’t wait to see what you’ve decided to do once you graduate!

North Allegheny is hosting a hackathon on February 24th at NASH! Teams will have the entire day to design, develop, and build projects to compete for sponsored prizes and monetary awards. Anyone who has an interest in technology should attend! Absolutely no experience is necessary! We’ll be providing optional workshops and mentors to help teams get started! It’s Facial Hair February! Each year, NASH raises thousands of dollars for Highmark’s The Caring Place. You can get involved in two ways: 1) Grow out your facial hair for the entire month of February to bring awareness to children’s grief and The Caring Place. 2) Donate money. Each dollar you donate earns you one raffle ticket for prizes like tickets to school events and gift cards. See Mrs. O in Room 265 to learn more.

Gathering Hope is collecting body wash, shampoo, and deodorant for Outreached Arms, which is a non-profit organization that serves the homeless and poor population of Pittsburgh. Monetary donations will also be accepted. Please drop off all donations to Mrs. Prosser in room 369 by March 22

Attention Seniors: The Class of 2024 North Allegheny Pre-Tuition Scholarship informational sheet and applications are now available through Naviance or paper copy through the Counseling Office. Please submit a copy of the completed application and a copy of the Student Aid Report page reflecting the EFC amount from your FAFSA filing to the Principal’s Office no later than Friday, April 5th.
