In Ethiopia, severe flooding has caused over 240,000 people to be displaced from their homes since last year, and more than 21.4 Million people need humanitarian aid. Global warming has magnified the size of these natural disasters in recent years. We need your help to get people’s normal lives back. The Environmental Club will be doing a fundraiser to help those affected. Each homeroom will be collecting donation money. The homeroom to collect the most donations will be gifted with free food! Yes, you heard right, FREE FOOD! Remember, even the leftover change in your pocket can make a change!

The Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science will offer workshops on Saturdays next fall.   Mrs. Ruffolo in room 249a has more information about how you can get a nomination to attend. You would be required to spend four Saturday mornings during the fall of your senior year in the workshops if you accept a nomination.  If you are interested, stop by the GOAL office or email Mrs. Ruffolo. This is open to current juniors who will be seniors in the fall.
