Hey NASH – will you be 18 on or before November 5th? If so, you are eligible to vote in the upcoming election, but time is running out for you to register! We will be holding a voter registration drive at NASH during all lunch periods on TODAY, TOMORROW, and Friday this week. You will be able to register online, and we will have computers available. Be sure to bring your PA Driver’s license if you have one. If you do not have a driver’s license, you will need the last 4 digits of your social security number in order to register. The deadline to register to vote is October 21st, so be sure to stop by the Voter Registration table during lunch this week! If you have any questions, you can email Ms. Keats at [email protected] or ask the student volunteers at the voter registration table.

The NAXC Shoe Drive is running until November 1st. Please donate your gently used or worn out shoes to the bin near the attendance office. If you are in NHS, you can receive one hour for donating any amount of shoes. If you are in Key Club, every two pairs of shoes counts as one donation hour. Attention Seniors: It’s time to start brainstorming those awesome Halloween costumes! If you’re interested in winning a free ticket to the 2025 Senior Banquet on the Gateway Clipper or snagging a free 2025 Senior Sweatshirt, listen up! On Thursday, October 31st, the Senior Class will host a Halloween Costume Contest! Wear your most creative costume to school, and make sure to get your picture taken in room 313 before school or during homeroom to enter the contest. Important: Full face make-up, costume masks, and play weapons are NOT allowed at school, so please keep this in mind! A secret panel of teachers will be judging the entries, and winners will be announced on Thursday, November 7th. So, will you be Beetlejuice, Taylor Swift, Deadpool, Wolverine, or a character from Star Wars? We can’t wait to see what you come up with! Get creative and have fun! Happy Halloween!
