Today is the day!! History Bowl is beginning their practices now. We will meet on Mondays from 2:30 – 3:30 after school in the Library. We are getting ready for our Regional Competition at the end of January. Would you like to learn more about History Bowl? The best way is to show up at the practice in the library after school on Monday, October 28th. It would also be a good idea to talk to Mrs. Ruffolo in the GOAL office in room 249A and let her know you are interested.

The NAXC Shoe Drive is running until November 1st. Donate your used shoes to the bin near the attendance office. If you are in NHS, you can receive one hour for donating any amount of shoes. If you are in Key Club, every two pairs of shoes counts as one donation hour. Contact Jack Bertram or Kendall Lucas with any questions.

Attention Seniors: If you’re interested in winning a free ticket to the 2025 Senior Banquet on the Gateway Clipper or snagging a free 2025 Senior Sweatshirt, listen up! On Thursday, the Senior Class will host a Halloween Costume Contest! Wear your most creative costume to school, and make sure to get your picture taken in room 313 before school or during homeroom to enter the contest. Full face make-up, masks, and play weapons are NOT allowed at school. A secret panel of teachers will be judging the entries, and winners will be announced on Thursday, November 7th. Get creative and have fun! Happy Halloween!

Are you interested in a travel experience for this upcoming summer? Would your family be willing to host an international student for a few weeks, as well? Rotary International offers a Short-Term Exchange Program over the summer between families. The NA student goes abroad and lives with a student and their host family for 3 weeks, and then both students return to the US for 3 weeks here.
