What’s different about teaching AP Environmental?
THE TIMELINE!!!!! We are on a very script and quick schedule. Every unit test is already scheduled. Each unit goes into way more detail than other levels.
How long have you been teaching?
This is my 14th year of teaching.
What made you want to teach environmental science?
I have always cared about the environment and how we impact it. Once, when I was little, my brother made fun of me for crying over trash in the woods of a park. It was one of my concentrations in college and when the teaching position opened, I applied.
Weirdest habit?
Randomly singing phrases.
Favorite TV show?
Schitt’s Creek and Ted Lasso.
What is your favorite national park?
Zion!
What was your favorite subject in school?
All sciences!

Cheesy Potatoes
What do you enjoy most in your free time?
Acting/being in a show.
If you could be any age for the rest of your life what age would you choose?
33.
If you could hangout with one celebrity for one day who and why?
Meryl Streep because she is acting royalty or Hannah Waddingham, because I’m basically in love with her. She too is an amazing actress.
What is your funniest teaching memory/best high school memory?
Being in PMTs half day program.
What was your first job?
Waitress in a small cafe in the West End, I did it all, barista, cook, cashier, busgirl everything.
Something students don’t know about you?
I played Dungeons and Dragons for the first time ever this year.
