Live now & think later about ticket prices, because pop superstar Tate McRae is coming to Pittsburgh on Wednesday, October 15th! McRae will be taking over PPG Paints Arena for her Miss Possessive Tour. Though the tour was announced all the way back in November, all of the dates sold out almost immediately, even with Ticketmaster’s greedy prices. For increased opportunities for fans, more cities and dates were added onto the tour, one of which being Pittsburgh.
McRae has finally rose to fame after years in the music business. She first started by posting home videos at her piano taken right after she got home from school. Her first song was the nostalgic “one day,” and for years, her discography consisted of songs written at home and played on her piano. After many EPs and singles, she released her first studio album i used to think i could fly in 2022. She then released her second album THINK LATER the following year, and her third So Close to What? was just released this past Friday.

Though senior Jack Kantz will be attending college in Ohio, he plans to make the trip to Pittsburgh in October.
”I am going to try my absolute best to get tickets,” he said. “I am going to be an hour and a half away at Kent State, but I think I can make it work.”
Junior Abbey Miklos said that she will definitely be in attendance on October 15.
“Tate McRae is super nostalgic to me,” she said. “I’ve loved [her songs] for a long time, especially the old one about a high school crush.”
Though unable to attend the Pittsburgh show, senior Japrina Goraya has a plan for next fall.
“I’ve been a huge fan of Tate for the past seven years. The first song I ever listened to was ‘One Day,’” Goraya said. “I’m actually going out of state for college, so I don’t think I’ll be able to go to the Pittsburgh show. However, there is a show in Detroit, and I will most definitely be going.”
