When did you start playing lacrosse?
I started playing lacrosse in 5th grade.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory so far?
When we beat Shady Side Academy in the WPIAL semi-final last year.
What are your expectations for yourself and the team this season?
I hope for another successful season both as a team and personally. I know this team can shock a lot of people and win a lot.
What was the recruiting process like for you?
It started off slow, but then it really picked up during spring of my junior year when I started picking up offers.
What made you pick Hobart College as your future school?
The connection with the coaches and alumni made the decision very easy. After a few visits and many calls with the coaching staff I knew I wanted to continue my career there. The campus was beautiful and the job opportunities out of college really stuck out to me.
What will you be majoring in next year?
I will be majoring in economics with minors in both finance and sports science.
How did playing high school football affect your lacrosse career?
Playing football helped boost my confidence and physicality in lacrosse. Football kept me in shape and boosted my strength a lot. Football also taught me what it takes to win, as we won WPIAL championships two out of my three years playing varsity.
What is a fun fact about you that few people know?
I grew up in New York City.
What inspired you to start playing lacrosse?
All my friends had picked it up and my little brother Blake had started playing the year before I did and loved it. I enjoyed watching the games and knew it was something I could be good at.
What is your favorite pregame song and ritual?
My pregame song is whatever Soundcloud mix we put on in the locker room, and a ritual I have is I have to eat some sort of pasta along with my electrolyte drink before every game.
What’s your favorite restaurant?
My favorite place to eat is definitely The Capital Grille.
What is your favorite activity to do outside of sports?
I love to go out and do something or just hang out with my friends and family.
Who is the funniest player on the team?
Travis Lamar at Saturday morning practices.
Would you rather have dinner with LeBron James or win $50,000?
I would pick dinner with LeBron. His presence and knowledge is priceless.
