This week NASH will be participating in the Sandy Hook Promise “Start With Hello” Week. Each day there will be activities designed to enaxble students to make a difference with their peers in a simple, fun, and impactful way by encouraging them to take small but powerful actions to build connections, end loneliness, and help each other. Today is Meet-N-Greet Monday! Your challenge is to meet someone new today. If you see someone alone, reach out, build a connection, and start with hello! Wednesday of this week has been designated as WEAR GREEN DAY.  This is done specifically in honor of Sandy Hook, as green is their school color.  Please wear something green to school on Wednesday to help promote the Start With Hello mission.

Say cheese! Photography Club is back! Are you ready to focus on something fun this year? Then don’t shutter at the thought of missing out. Come join us for the kickoff meeting of NASH’s Photography Club THIS WEDNESDAY immediately after school in room 191. Whether you are starting at a negative or already developing into a pro, this club is for everyone who loves to zoom in on creativity and capture life from the perfect angle. We promise it won’t be a flash in the pan. Our club is guaranteed to be picture perfect! So grab your cameras, your phones, or even just your sense of humor and join us. Attention Seniors: In lieu of the remainder of today’s announcements, we will be hearing from the candidates running for Senior Class Offices.  Seniors, after the speeches, look for an email from Mrs. Perry that contains a link for a Google Form to vote for your favorite candidates for Senior Class President, Vice President, Secretary, Publicity Director and Treasurer.  Voting will end on Friday at 1:30 pm and the winners will be announced by the end of the day.  Good luck to all the Candidates!
