The North Allegheny Federation of Teachers wishes to thank all of the fine candidates who applied for the annual NAFT scholarship.  The following students have been selected as finalists competing for the scholarship. Attention Seniors:  Senior Prom is only one month away, on April 28th at the David Lawrence Convention Center.  Tickets will be sold in the auditorium foyer before and after school on April 4 – 6.  There is an online registration form that you must complete before purchasing tickets that can be found on the NASH homepage.

Michigan State University will be visiting NASH TODAY at 10:41 am.  The meeting will be held in the College Reception Area in the auditorium foyer.  Sign up to meet with the representative on your Naviance account.

Attention Seniors: Commencement Speech Tryouts are approaching.  If you’d like to be considered for a tryout, prepare a 3-5 minute draft and submit it to Mr. Truesdell in Rm 221 by Friday, April 6th before 2:15pm.

Two of NA’s seniors competed in this weekend’s USA Powerlifting High School Nationals in Wisconsin.  Zac Backauskas and Davis Creach each won 2nd place in their weight class.

The GSA is meeting this Wednesday after school in Room 252 at NASH! The GSA is a safe place for students of all genders and sexual orientations to meet and discuss issues of the day. Please join us.

Attention all upcoming 9th-12th graders, High School Hockey Tryouts for the 2018-19 season will be from April 4th-12th.  Registration is now open, and will close April 1st. Please go to the NA PIHL website to find the link and register today!”

For any junior, who is not currently a member of NA hockey, but who is interested in trying out for the Junior Varsity or Varsity ice hockey teams next season, there will be an open skate at the Baierl Ice Complex tonight from 9:30 to 10:30 pm.  The cost is $10.

This announcement is for juniors who are interested in studying math or science in college.  If you are considering applying to Rennselaer University, there might be a scholarship for you.  The qualifications are demanding. Check online or with Mrs. Ruffolo in GOAL to see if you are eligible.
