TODAY TODAY TODAY, NASH Key Club will be hosting their second annual Teacher Jeopardy during periods 10 and 11 in the auditorium. Tickets are $5 during lunch today and will be sold for $7 at the door. All of the proceeds will go toward Grandview Elementary School, and there is a great lineup of teachers competing along with a surprise student guest. Please come support a great cause and watch some of your favorite teachers compete in Jeopardy!

Students interested in either a long-term foreign exchange program (which is a whole school year) or a short-term foreign exchange program (which is a few weeks in the summer), should stop by the GOAL Office, room 249A, and speak with Mrs. Lombardi. This exchange program is run through the local Rotary Club and is an amazing experience for students!

Are you interested in applying for a summer research program? The Hillman Cancer Center Academy (formerly called UPCI, the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute) is accepting student applications. (Applications are due February 8th). Dr. David Boone is coming to NASH to speak to students on Friday, December 21st from 8:30 – 9:30 in the NASH Library Multipurpose Room. He will give an overview of the program and insights about the application. Please sign up through the form on Blackboard under 18-19 NASH GOAL and Enrichment Opportunities. Stop by the GOAL Office, room 249A, with any questions.

North Allegheny is hosting its second annual Hackathon on Saturday, January 5th at NASH! Teams will have the entire day to design, develop, and build projects to compete for sponsored prizes and awards. Anyone who has an interest in technology should attend! Absolutely no experience is necessary! We’ll be providing optional workshops and mentor expertise to help teams get started! Attendance is free, and meals and snacks will be provided.
