Attention Prom Goers: Please make sure to fill in the registration google doc and turn in the guest form, which can both be found in the prom link on the NASH homepage, to the main office at least 24 hours before coming to purchase your prom ticket so that everything is cleared before you try to buy your ticket. Table reservations will be taken on Thursday all day in the Auditorium Foyer, you must have each ticket number for your table before making a reservation.

NA Rowing competed at the Dillon Lake Scholastic Sprints in Zanesville, OH over the weekend. Congratulations to Haley Dubovecky and Anjana Suresh finishing 2nd in the Women’s Double And Michael Urich placed 3rd in a single. A great start to the 2019 Spring Season! Next up will be Pittsburgh Scholastic Sprints on April 28th.

Get ready for some Spikeball! NASH is holding a spikeball tournament on May 18th at Newman Stadium from 5-10pm. Signups are next week from April 21st-27th. All proceeds benefit Hearts for Homeless. You can find the registration link on the flyers throughout the building. Grab a friend and practice up!

TigerThon 2019 may be over, but the fight against Pediatric Cancer is not! If you are a current junior who is interested in further supporting Pediatric Cancer, consider joining the Lending Hearts Junior Council. Lending Hearts is a Pittsburgh nonprofit organization that supports children and young adults who are battling cancer by providing monthly family activities and administering a wellness program at Children’s Hospital. If you are interested in increasing your leadership skills and supporting this important cause, please visit the Lending Hearts website (https://www.lendinghearts.org/who-we-are/ways-to-get-involved/junior-council/) for application guidelines. You can also contact Anna Betler, Richie Carr, or Eliza Toomey with any questions. All applications are due by May 1st.

Fall Play Auditions for Next Year’s fall production will take place on Tuesday, April 30 from 2:30-5 in Rm 221. All students interested in auditioning should prepare a comedic monologue. See Mr. Truesdell in Room 221 for details.

Attention Seniors attending LaRoche University or CCAC in the Fall, stop down to the Counseling Office to pick up an application for the McCandless Industrial Development Authority Scholarship. The due date for submission is Wednesday, April 24, so don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity.

PA DECA is Sponsoring a Sports & Entertainment Conference on Friday, May 3, from 5:00 – 9:30 p.m., at PNC Park. The cost is $28, but NA DECA will pay $10 towards the fee for the first 25 people to sign up and pay. The fee included the conference, a Pirates game, plus a value menu and all you can eat peanuts, popcorn, and sodas! A commitment is needed no later than Tuesday the close of school. You can get more details, and sign up using the Google Form link. Don’t delay!

The McCandless Town Council has instituted a “Junior Councilperson Program”. All interested incoming Junior or Seniors can find more information and an application for appointment in the school counseling office. Deadline for applications is Monday, April 22nd.
