A reminder that the Homecoming dance is this Saturday, September 30th from 7:30-10:30. There will be no early dismissals from the dance. You will not be permitted entry without a ticket. Dick’s Sporting Goods will be filming their spring commercial on the NASH Baseball field this Sunday evening. Our varsity players will be on the field during filming, and the production company has asked to fill the stands with fans. Anyone can participate as a fan. Arrival time is 7pm this Sunday, and the filming is expected to take two hours. If you’re interested in participating, stop by the GOAL Office or the TV Studio for more information. Please note: You must complete an image use release form in advance.

Do you like working with children? Are you considering a career in education? Do you enjoy service projects? If so, please listen up! We are in need of some excellent role models to serve as mentors to students at Grandview Elementary School in the Pittsburgh Public School District. We started this project 11 years ago, and it has been a favorite activity of many NASH students over the years. The project involves tutoring at Grandview Elementary school on November 16th and taking a field trip with the kids to the Carnegie Science Center on March 7th. You’ll also be pen-pals with your Grandview buddy throughout the school year. Any interested students should stop by room 249A , the GOAL Office, or email Mrs. Lombardi for more information.

The NA Foundation Trick or Trot Race is scheduled for Saturday, October 28th on the Marshall campus. Registration is only $3, and proceeds benefit the Health and PE Department at an NA school of the racer’s choice. Look for flyers around NASH to register for the race.
