What was the biggest factor in your upset over Central Catholic in the WPIAL championship match?

Our biggest factor for success was trusting our game plan and winning the turnover battle.

Describe your emotions after taking that final knee in victory formation that night.

It was just pure happiness knowing our hard work paid off. Winning back to back WPIAL championships really felt great.

How did you feel Sunday morning after the game?

I felt amazing and proud of what we did, but obviously really sore, too.

What advice would you give to younger athletes that look up to you and want to succeed?

Stay focused and set goals that you really want to achieve. If you work hard and focus on the goals you have, you will succeed, and NA really gives the opportunities to reach this success. You will lose games, like the regular season game we dropped to Central this year, but you have to keep pushing when times seem rough.

What are your plans for next year?

I am not sure yet about my plans for next year, but football is most likely a part of it, especially with the attention from schools after the championship game.

Who is your all-time favorite NFL quarterback?

Ben Roethlisberger. I grew up watching him, and the Steelers had good success [with Roethlisberger]. He was always my favorite player to watch and helped me love football.

Have you always wanted to play quarterback?

No, I actually played wide receiver up until 8th grade and then moved to quarterback mid-season.

How did it feel playing with your older brother last year and winning the championship and now doing it this year with your younger brother?

It was a great experience playing with my brothers and being successful with both of them. It was great to make memories with both of them.

Who is your biggest motivator?

My biggest motivator is myself because I am constantly trying to be the best version of myself.

Would you rather have dinner with Tom Brady or have $50K?

50K, but it’s close.

Who is the funniest coach on the team?

Coach Tengowski, for sure.

Describe yourself in one word.

Determined.

If you didn’t play football, what sport would you play?

I would definitely be playing basketball.
