Students are not permitted to carry medication in school UNLESS you have spoken to Nurse Stamp and have the proper paperwork on file. This includes over-the-counter medication like Advil and Tylenol.

Junior students are required to turn in a physical exam to the school nurse dated within the past 12 months. If you have already turned one in to Athletics, you still need to turn a copy in to the Nurses’ Office.

Hey NASH! Get excited for Homecoming!! NASH’s Homecoming Parade will be on Friday, October 18th prior to the football game, and the dance will be on Saturday, October 19th at 7:30! Ticket sales information will be available soon.

The NASH cafeteria staff is excited to welcome everyone back. The Deli line has been expanded to include the salad bar. The traffic pattern has changed. Please place your order where the pickup window has been in the past. The Chopping Block will now feature Sandwich Specials each day. For Friday Night Lights, today’s menu includes Chili Cheese Dogs, Hot Dogs, Nachos, Seasoned Fries, and Corn on the Cob. See you in the Cafeteria!

On Wednesday, September 4th, Madia Photography will be at NASH to take junior school pictures in the morning. On Thursday, September 5th, Madia will be at NASH from 7:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. to take senior headshot photos for the yearbook for any students who have not already had their photos taken for the yearbook. This will be the only opportunity for seniors to have their photo taken at NASH for the yearbook if they have not already had their photo taken by Madia Photography. It is requested that senior students arrive wearing the appropriate clothing for the photo opportunity. It is recommended that students wear a black or dark colored blazer or suit jacket with white dress shirt and tie, or a black or dark-colored dress or top which covers their arms. Copies of the junior picture day order form can be picked up in the main office.

When school starts and we are back in close proximity with each other, this is the time that germs spread and there is a rise in illness. Make sure you are using common sense by washing your hands frequently and not sharing drinks with others. If you are SICK, you need to stay home. Let’s all do our best to prevent the spread of illness here at NASH.
