The North Allegheny Varsity Boys and Girls Bowling teams would like to invite all high school students to our after-school intramurals program beginning Monday, October 21 and continuing every Monday and Wednesday (that school is in session) until mid-November. We are looking to expand our rosters. All skill levels of bowlers are encouraged to attend. We will meet at Perry Park Lanes in McCandless from 3:00 -5:00 pm. Three games of bowling and shoe rental is covered by the $6 participation fee. Students are encouraged to come out and meet the coaches and athletes that make up our Championship Bowling program. On Wednesday, Madia Photography will be at NASH to take junior and senior make up school pictures in the morning from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. ALL JUNIORS will need to have their photo taken for ID badge purposes. Senior headshot photos for the yearbook for any students who have not already had their photos taken for the yearbook and photo ID purposes will also be taken. Madia Photography is the official photographer for the senior photos in the yearbook and photos can only be taken and submitted by Madia. This will be the final opportunity for seniors to have their photo taken at NASH for the yearbook if they have not already had their photo taken by Madia Photography. Madia is unable to bring clothing items for students to wear. Senior students should arrive wearing the appropriate clothing for the photo opportunity. It is recommended that students wear a black or dark colored blazer or suit jacket white dress shirt and tie or a black or dark colored dress or top which covers their arms.

If you’re interested in winning a free ticket to the 2025 Senior Banquet on the Gateway Clipper or snagging a free 2025 Senior Sweatshirt, listen up! On Thursday, October 31st, the Senior Class will host a Halloween Costume Contest! Wear your most creative costume to school, and make sure to get your picture taken in room 313 before school or during homeroom to enter the contest. Important: Full face make-up, costume masks, and play weapons are NOT allowed at school, so please keep this in mind! Are you interested in a travel experience for this upcoming summer? Would your family be willing to host an international student for a few weeks, as well? Rotary International offers a Short-Term Exchange Program over the summer between families.
