They were all winners of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative artists and writers in the U.S. The deadlines for submission are coming up soon. The writing deadline is TOMORROW. The art deadline is January 7th. Stop by 249A if you have questions about the Writing contest. See your art teacher for information about the Art Awards.

Exciting news for all seniors—get ready for the Early Bird Sale for the Senior Banquet aboard the Gateway Clipper on May 30th! During this special sale, tickets will be available for just $100. Your ticket includes transportation to and from downtown Pittsburgh, a river cruise, dinner and gratuities, security and chaperones, a DJ for dancing, and the presentation of the Senior Superlatives. Remember, this is a senior-only event, so no dates are required—just bring yourself and get ready to celebrate with your fellow members of the Class of 2025! Tickets will be available through MySchoolDance for credit card payments, or you can purchase them in person if you prefer to pay by check. The Early Bird Sale will run from January 8th to January 10th, so be sure to mark your calendars! More details regarding payment and sale times will be shared soon as we get closer to the sale dates.
