Dr. Maya Angelou’s grandchildren are coming to Pittsburgh to celebrate the regional opening of I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. They will be at NASH TODAY at 11:00 in the NASH Library to discuss Dr. Angelou’s life and work. Sign up in GOAL if you can participate in Friday’s in-house presentation.

The United States Naval Academy will be visiting NASH on Monday, March 12 at 11:26 am. Sign up to meet with the representative on your Naviance account.

Attention all Grandview Mentors: On Thursday, March 15th, you’ll spend the day at the Carnegie Science Center with your Grandview buddy. In order to be prepared for this event, please attend a training session on EITHER Mon. March 12th or Tues. March 13th  during homeroom in the NASH Library Multipurpose Room.  If you cannot attend the training for some reason, please see Mrs. Lombardi in the GOAL Office.

The physical education department would like to extend our sincere thanks to all who participated in the blood drive on Wednesday!  We are proud to announce with our efforts we will help save the lives of 327 people in Western Pennsylvania! Central Blood Bank collected 109 units of blood yesterday.   A big thanks goes out to the teachers for their patience throughout the day, as well as Nurse Halapy for her efforts along the way! Key Club will be hosting one final drive here at NASH on May 22nd, so get ready to roll up those sleeves one last time!
