Are you interested in being part of an honors society focused on English and literature-based events? If so, then the National English Honors Society is the right club for you! NEHS focuses on volunteering and helping through literature-based activities such as book drives and reading to preschoolers. Our introductory meeting is RIGHT NOW in room 236 and the first official meeting is after school on September 25 in the library. “Are you interested in learning how to twirl a baton? Do you want to become a North Allegheny Majorette? Then the 3rd Annual North Allegheny Majorette Mini-Camp is where you need to be. The mini-camp is open to grades K-11 and will be held on Wednesday nights beginning October 18th. Look for the flyers and posters around the school for more details and information on registration.

Attention Juniors: The PSAT is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th. Please stop by the Counseling Office to pick up the registration form and practice booklet. The registration deadline is October 2nd. Don’t miss this opportunity for college assessment practice and also the National Merit Qualifying Exam!

Admissions representatives from a variety of colleges and universities will be scheduling visits to North Allegheny Senior High to meet with interested students starting the week of September 25. All students are encouraged to look at their Naviance accounts to view all upcoming visits and sign up for those that interest you. College rep visits occur during lunches and are held in the vestibule outside of the NASH auditorium. If visits are scheduled during your lunch, just sign up and show up during your lunch. If visits are scheduled during times when you have class, you must sign up and get your teacher to write you a pass to attend. These are excellent opportunities for you to hear more about colleges and meet our admissions representatives.

Hey everyone! The NASH Homecoming dance is right around the corner. This year’s theme is “A Night in the Forest” the dance is at NASH on Saturday October 7th from 8 – 11 pm. Tickets go on sale beginning next week on September 25th Tickets are $40 per couple. Or $20 single during the first week of ticket sales
