Where are you originally from?

I grew up in the North Huntingdon area.

When did you first start working at NA?

I started working at Marshall Elementary in 2011.

What do you think is the most stressful part of your job?

Dealing with a parent that is upset.

What’s your favorite part of your job?

Saying good morning to all the students when they come in.

Oddest excuse you’ve heard from students coming in late?

Their dog puked and they had to clean it up.

If you could switch places with any other teacher in the building, who would you pick? 

Mr. Schmiech….I love to sing!

What is your biggest pet peeve that students do?

When they are not honest.

What’s your dream vacation?

I’d like to go out west to see Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, and Mt. Rushmore.

Random fun fact that people might not know about you?

I was a Jr. Miss runner up my senior year in high school.

Favorite restaurant?

I don’t have one. I like them all, because I don’t have to make the food!

If you could go back in time, what would you tell your high school self?

Have more confidence in your abilities.

Nerd ropes!

How do you spend your summer breaks? 

Relaxing and working in my flower gardens.

What makes a good day for you?

If I can make a student feel better or smile, that is a good day.
