TODAY, Madia Photography will be at NASH until 9:30 to take senior headshot photos for the yearbook for any seniors who have not already had their photos taken for the yearbook. This will be the ONLY opportunity for seniors to have their photo taken at NASH for the yearbook if they have not already had their photo taken by Madia Photography. It is requested that senior students wear a black or dark colored blazer or suit jacket with white dress shirt and tie, or a black or dark-colored dress or top which covers their arms.

Tickets for this Friday’s football game are now on sale in the Athletics Office. Please note that there are special restrictions for student attendance at this Friday’s game, which you can read about on Blackboard under NASH Student Information. North Allegheny will provide a chaperoned student spectator bus to Penn Hills for NA students in grades 9-12. The cost is $5, which includes your game admission ticket. Students may sign up during advanced sales. Students traveling to the game on chaperoned buses must return home on the bus. No Exceptions!

National English Honor Society is an organization that gives students the opportunity to give back to their community by utilizing writing and creativity while gaining experience and an honors cord. If you are interested in learning more about National English Honor Society, there will be an informational meeting after school in the library THIS FRIDAY. The NASH Interact Club will have its first informational meeting after school on Tuesday, September 10th from 2:20 – 3:15 in the NASH Library. What is the Interact Club? It is the high school branch of the Rotary Club; our motto is “service above self.” The Interact Club provides students with opportunities to do service projects, make personal connections, develop leadership and communication skills, and have fun! Interact also offers an international travel exchange program where students can do a short-term or long-term study abroad. Come to the meeting on Tuesday, September 10th to learn how you can get involved. If you can’t attend the meeting but are interested in joining, stop by the NASH GOAL Office (room 249A) and see Mrs. Lombardi.
