AP Chemistry students may have noticed Mr. Davis’s detailed sleeves on both arms. The first side of tattoos comes from the summer of 2018: “It’s made up of the birth flowers of the people who have shaped my life in the deepest ways—my wife, my parents, my kids, and a few others whose presence helped make me who I am.” Where the left sleeve honors those closest to him, the right depicts celestial imagery of the sun, moon, clouds, and stars all woven together. This design grounds him and acts as a reminder to see the bigger picture in life.
