On Monday and Tuesday, students in gym classes were treated to an unusual but extremely important lesson on mental illness and substance use disorders. The members of Stand Together, a peer-driven mental health and stigma awareness initiative occurring in schools throughout Allegheny County, provided presentations to all Phys Ed classes. The video above was a crucial part of the presentation and showed how mental health affects us all.

I wish more people actually paid attention and cared. Nobody was paying attention, making fun of it, and throwing their bracelets away. Nobody cares about it and the serious consequences it can have down the line. Excellent job on the conversation guys.
