When inquiring in the halls of NASH about favorite colors, I was quite taken aback to hear a reply that it is no longer acceptable to like rainbows because they’ve been “hijacked.” In response, I decided to ask members of the LGBTQ+ community about their opinions on the color spectrum. Here are the results.
Ashley Boehmke is a senior at North Allegheny Senior High. She is a member of the NA dance team, chamber orchestra, and literary magazine, VARIATIONS. In her nonexistent free time, Ashley enjoys photography, painting, playing music, and writing poetry. Next year, she will be attending OSU to study biology and dance with the goal of becoming a physical therapist for dancers.
