February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, and this week NASH will be making an effort to raise awareness about abuse in teenage relationships. Did you know that every year, approximately 1.5 million high school students nationwide experience physical abuse from a dating partner? All week, bracelets will be sold for $1 during lunch periods to raise money for the Women’s Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh. If you are in Key Club, you can get one donation hour for every five bracelets you buy. Please support this organization and show your school spirit by buying the bracelets. Don’t forget we are having a Spirit Week to further raise awareness! Today’s theme is Orange Out.
