In order to assure that applications are completed properly, the NHS application deadline is extended to this Friday, March 8 at 2:20pm. If your application is done earlier than March 8, you are welcome to turn it in to Mr. Tengowski in room 314 anytime this week. NHS Applicants should check their NA Email account for more information.

Tickets for this year’s spring musical are on sale during all lunch periods.  The dates of the show are March 13th through 17th, and tickets are $16. Don’t miss out on Good News!

Scholarship opportunities are pouring in!  The list on Naviance is updated every day. Be sure to apply to the “LOCAL” scholarships that are specifically for NA students.  If you have any questions, please stop in the counseling office and see Mrs. Galbraith.

Hey NASH, don’t forget that we are collecting gently used prom dresses in room 313 until Monday, March 11th.  Give that dress a second chance to make someone happy on their prom night.  Also, on Saturday, March 9th, the North Hills Baptist Church will be having a prom dress giveaway.  There will be over 1,000 New and Gently used dresses and shoes to choose from.  Stressing about the financial hardship of having the prom of your dreams, don’t hesitate to attend.  If you have a need for help, you are welcome and encouraged to be there, no questions asked. Need more info, stop in and see Mrs. Perry before or after school in room 313.

SIGN UP TO SAVE A LIFE!!  The physical education department is hosting a blood drive on Thursday, March 14th.  Spots are still available, see your Physical Education teacher to secure a spot to donate.  The deadline to sign up is this Friday, March 8th! Also if you have already signed up please turn in your consent form to your PE teacher as soon as possible.

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.. would you like to read to your old school?  The staff at Franklin Elementary is looking for some alumni to read a Dr. Seuss book to classroom groups on Friday, March 8 at 2:45 pm.  If you’d like to participate, please look on the Franklin website for more information.

The Allegheny Intermediate Unit Leadership Apprenticeship is organizing a health products drive through students from many schools around Pittsburgh. The group is collecting small toiletry items such as soap, small bottles of shampoo, shaving products, and socks for two organizations run by Pittsburgh Mercy hospital that provide health products to the homeless. Please drop donations in the collection boxes in the cafeteria, near the gym entrance, and outside of the GOAL office See Mrs, Lombardi in the Goal office with any questions. Your help is needed for a great cause.
