The North Allegheny Federation of Teachers is pleased to announce that they will offer up to two $2,500 scholarships to NA Seniors who plan to enter the elementary or secondary teaching profession.  If you would like to compete for this exciting scholarship opportunity, view and complete the application beginning Thursday, February 18 on Naviance.

If you are interested in speaking, discussing topics ranging from COVID-19 to technology, OR just want to improve presentation skills via an engaging platform, come join us this Thursday at 3pm for our first TED Talk Club meeting!  TED Talk Club is a group working towards providing voices for students with something to say. We’ll have weekly and biweekly meetings to workshop speeches and help each other improve. Towards the end of the school year, the club intends on hosting an official TEDx online-event that compiles students’ views on one key topic to discuss. If you’d like to attend Thursday’s meeting, look for the link to the google form on Blackboard this week.

Attention all students: please help yourself to a free GRAB & GO breakfast each morning.  The grab and go bags will be available in the reach-in cooler, just inside the main entrance.  If students want other options for breakfast, check out the alternative options in the cafeteria.  Hot entrees are available daily, from breakfast pizza to breakfast sandwiches.
