Attention Seniors:  Save The Date!  The 2023 Senior Prom will be on May 13th at the David Lawrence Convention Center in the Spirit of Pittsburgh Ballroom.  Join us for an evening Under the Stars.  The formal event begins at 7:30 pm, with dinner being served at 8:00 followed by an evening of dancing and photo ops.  Prom ends at 11:00 pm.  Students will not be permitted to leave before then.  Tickets will go on sale at a discounted rate of $80 per person in March and then again in the middle of April at the regular price of $90 per person.  Watch for more details as we get closer to the event here on NATV, in emails sent to the senior class, in the Weekly Newsflash and by following the Senior class on Twitter and Instagram.

Attention Senior Athletes or Band Members: The North Allegheny Unified Boosters Organization scholarship deadline is quickly approaching.  Any senior who has participated in a varsity sport or the marching band is eligible to apply to receive scholarship money.  Application information for the UBO Scholarships can be found on the NA Athletic website under the “FOR ATHLETES” tab.  All applications must be submitted to Mr. Bozzuto in the Athletic Office no later than Friday, March 31st, at noon.

Attention Seniors:  The Class of 2023 North Allegheny Pre-Tuition Scholarship informational sheet and applications are now available through Naviance or through the Counseling Office.  Please submit a copy of the completed application and a copy of the Student Aid Report page reflecting the EFC amount from your FAFSA filing to the Principal’s Office no later than Friday, March 24.

Seniors, are you interested in a career in education?  The North Allegheny Federation of Teachers is pleased to announce the Future Educator Scholarship, offering up to two $2,500 scholarships to NA Seniors who plan to enter the elementary or secondary teaching profession.  If you would like to compete for this exciting scholarship opportunity, view the requirements and application on Naviance.  Completed applications are due by 2:20 PM on February 28.

Attention students interested in taking AP Exams.  Late registration is still open with monetary penalties and will close on March 10th. The AP registration process is a two-step process. Still deciding what to do after high school? Wouldn’t it be nice to get a more detailed look into a variety of careers to help you decide?  Wouldn’t it be amazing to have ready-made contacts you can network with to learn more?  We are offering a series of lunchtime conversations with career professionals in a multitude of fields.  Choose a few jobs that sound interesting to you, and sign up to learn more!  Our speakers will present for about 20 minutes, with 10 minutes built in for Q & A. These sessions will take place from March 6 – 17, during periods 5, 6, 7, and 8. Head to our Career Conversations website through Bb to learn about speakers, sessions, and to sign up!  If you have any questions, stop by Room 249A, the NASH GOAL Office.

The North Allegheny Facilities Department is accepting applications for seasonal custodians to work this summer, starting in May 2023 and ending in August 2023. Seasonal custodians will work to prepare the buildings for the 2023-2024 School Year. Starting hourly rate is $10.50/hr. Daily work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Students 16 and older are eligible to apply. High school students must have a valid work permit. Please visit the District’s Applicant Tracking System for additional details and to apply.
