Please join the NA Gender and Sexuality Alliance this coming Wednesday, March 1st at 2:30 in The Place, attached to the NASH Library. We will have a special guest, Madison, who will be helping us get to know the Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation, an amazing Pittsburgh organization dedicated to offering LGBTQ youth support and fun events. The North Allegheny Federation of Teachers is pleased to announce the Future Educator Scholarship, offering up to two $2,500 scholarships to NA Seniors who plan to enter the elementary or secondary teaching profession.  If you would like to compete for this exciting scholarship opportunity, view the requirements and application on Naviance.  Completed applications are due by 2:20 PM TOMORROW.

118 DECA members competed at the DECA State CDC held in Hershey last week. It was another record breaking year, with forty-four students qualifying for the International Career Development Conference, which will be held in Orlando in April! NA students also received a total of 46 medallions for top scores on their test scores and role-plays! Our state officers, Amanda Hulver and William Sun, were both triple medallian AND 1st Place award winners, as well as Adi Mallik! Collin Wang was elected as the District 2 Representative at our district conference and was sworn into office to serve for the 2023-2024 school year. NA was also recognized for meeting their membership goal and is the second largest DECA chapter in the state!  They also achieved the  highest level for the Plan of Action!
