Jess Daninhirsch, Photography Editor

Following her stint as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the NAEye sophomore year and Junior Photography Editor last year for the Uproar, Jess Daninhirsch is ecstatic about being the Photography Editor and a staff writer this year on The Uproar. Jess dreams of becoming a journalist and a photographer one day and documenting the world. Outside of school, Jess actively participates in BBYO, an international Jewish teen movement (at which she is a correspondent for their international newsletter, The Shofar), and loves to contribute to her Jewish community. She enjoys making art, playing music, dancing, and playing with her two dogs.

Summer is quickly approaching, so it's time to incorporate some cheerful tunes into your playlists.

"During my freshman year, 8 of us majorettes decided to compete in group events at these competitions, and we worked on our routines throughout the year with our coach and competed together at many competitions. I loved being a part of this small group and getting to do more difficult routines than our halftime show routines, but after my freshman year we did not have enough girls interested in the group to keep doing it, which I was sad about, but it gave me more time to focus on my individual routines. My favorite memory from competitive was when we went to TU Internationals in Canton, Ohio in 2019. It was a two-day competition and I got to hang out with my friends, meet new twirlers, and I won first place for my solo!"
